Tonight (Wednesday to Thursday), weeks before joining England, the Argentine striker stunned with a tremendous six-pointer in River's 1-8 win over Allines Lima in the Libertadores Cup.
Albers, just 22, scored a hat-trick even before the break and contributed three more goals in the second half, equaling the record set by Juan Carlos Sanchez, who scored a six in a factory somewhere in 1985.

As you may recall, Manchester City signed Albers on a five-and-a-half year contract for 17 million euros in January, but loaned him to River Plate until the end of the season.
Albers is set to take part in City's prep camp in the US in July with Arling Holland. The 22-year-old has already made seven appearances for Argentina and, assuming the Netherlands are the senior striker, a very tough battle awaits him in Guardiola's constellation. A head that every coach dreams of next season.
