Bayern candidate Mané leaves the future in Liverpool open

Attacker Sadio Mané left his future at Liverpool open before the Champions League final.

"I'll only answer after the Champions League final whether I'll stay or not," said the Senegalese on British TV broadcaster Sky Sports.

The contract of the 30-year-old offensive player with the second in the English football championship runs until June 30, 2023.

Mané was recently associated with the German record champions FC Bayern Munich.

There he could replace Serge Gnabry, who has not yet extended his contract, which runs until 2023, and may leave the club in the summer.

Mané could also play in the position of Robert Lewandowski, who was courted by FC Barcelona.

Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp will play against Real Madrid for the premier class trophy on Saturday (9 p.m. / TV: ZDF and Dazn) in Paris.

Mané had already won the Champions League with the Reds in 2019.

Chelsea want Leipzig's Gvardiol

After the departure of defensive specialists Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen, Chelsea are looking for reinforcements in defence.

The top club in the Premier League should also have a Leipzig player in mind: According to information from the Guardian, the 2021 Champions League winner is interested in RB defender Joško Gvardiol.

The 20-year-old only switched from Dinamo Zagreb to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2021 for almost 20 million euros.

In the past season he played 46 competitive games for Leipzig.

FC Bayern brings Frenchwoman Laurent from Lyon

Vice-champion Bayern Munich announces the second entry for the coming season.

The French international Emelyne Laurent comes from the Champions League winner Olympique Lyon and has signed a contract with FC Bayern until 2025.

"Emelyne is a very fast winger who feels at home in both the offensive and defensive areas," said sporting director Bianca Rech about the 23-year-old, who has already gained international experience as a loan player at Atlético Madrid.

"Everyone knows FC Bayern and of course it speaks for itself that so many French national players like Kingsley Coman or Benjamin Pavard play for Bayern," said Laurent: "I want to imitate them, develop further and play in the Bundesliga."

Last week, Bayern announced the signing of England international Georgia Stanway from Manchester City.
