Exciting season finale for TSV Peiting in district league 2: Coach Fabian Melzer's team has to score against Penzing in order not to let Utting pass.
Peiting – The championship in the district league 2 has been decided.
The VSST Günzlhofen made the title last week with a 3:0 win against SC Oberweikertshofen II and thus the march through from the district class perfect.
The question of who will come second is still open.
The decision on who goes into the promotion relegation falls in a long-distance duel between TSV Peiting and TSV Utting.
The people from Peiting have the better starting position in second place with a two-point lead over Utting.
To be on the safe side and not to have to rely on support, coach Fabian Melzer's team should win at home against FC Penzing on the last day of the game on Sunday (3 p.m.).
For the guests, who are in fourth place, it's no longer about anything.
"We'll only know after the game whether that's an advantage or a disadvantage," says Melzer.
Negative record against FC Penzing in the last few games
Looking back, however, he expects a lot of hard work.
"We always had a hard time against Penzing," says Melzer after his team lost the last four duels against FCP.
“We try to hide that and all the trappings as best we can,” Melzer expects his men to focus on their game and their own strengths.

It is clear to the people from Peiting that a draw against Penzing will probably not be enough to defend second place.
Should Uttinger win their last game against Eichenau, for whom nothing is at stake, they would have a nose in front of a Peitinger draw, since the direct comparison speaks for the team from Ammersee.
But Melzer doesn't want to waste any thought on such a scenario.
“We definitely want to win,” is his announcement.
With the exception of Max Heiss (injured), he can draw on plenty of personnel.
