On the last day of the district league 1, two district teams are challenged again: Polling meets TSV Murnau, who are playing for the title, TSV Peißenberg has relegation in mind.

District – For the two teams from the district, which still compete on the last day of the district league 1, it is officially about nothing.

And yet the games of SV Polling and TSV Peißenberg are definitely relevant.

SV Polling intervenes in the promotion battle

SV Polling could definitely tip the scales in the fight for promotion, after all coach Robert Färber's team is expecting TSV Murnau on Sunday (3 p.m.).

The guest still has a chance of winning the championship as second.

In the event of a defeat in Polling, Murnau could even fall back to third place and thus miss the promotion relegation.

"It will be a very difficult task against an opponent who is strong in terms of play, running and technique," SVP coach Robert Färber expects a fully committed second in the table, who absolutely wants to win.

"It is clear that we will behave in a sportingly fair manner for the league and try everything to counteract this," Farber clarifies.

In terms of personnel, apart from the long-term absences and Marcel Mayr, who was injured last week, he can draw on almost anything.

"We want to sell ourselves sensibly and say goodbye to our own fans properly," says Färber.

As reported, it is also a farewell for him.

He will take a break from coaching.

TSV Peißenberg is looking forward to relegation

For TSV Peißenberg it is already clear that the season will continue.

The eleventh in the table has to sit in detention in the relegation to the district league and wants to ensure relegation there.

Who coach Florian Heringer's men have to play against in the coming week also depends on where they end up in the final table.

The penultimate, the DJK Waldram, could overtake the Peißenberger with only two points behind.

If TSV eleventh stays, he will meet the second in district class 3, who has not yet been determined.

SV Münsing and WSV Unterammergau fought a long-distance duel for the championship on the last day of the game.

The loser from this becomes the Peißenberg opponent.

Should TSV finish twelfth, it will be against the runners-up in district class 2. Then there would be a reunion with the team that Peißenberg defeated three years ago in the relegation to the district league: SG Hausham.

But before that happens, TSV has to play the fifth team, SV Miesbach, on Sunday (3 p.m.).

"For us, this is the last preparatory game for the relegation, in which we want to get a good feeling," says Heringer about the actually meaningless game in which he will rest some injured players so that the TSV for the decisive games for relegation can compete without personnel problems.
