Former international scrum half (28 caps between 1997 and 2007), approached for a time to train the XV of France alongside Fabien Galthié, Mignoni won the European Challenge (2007) with Clermont as a player, the European Cup (2013 , 2014, 2015) and the Top 14 (2014) as an assistant coach in Toulon.
