LANDKREISPOKAL Forstinning wins the final against bravely fighting Anzinger
Forstinning – a festive atmosphere on Father's Day in the Forstinning sports park: around 400 spectators populated the sports park at the final of the district cup between VfB Forstinning and SV Anzing.
The quality of the game did not quite keep up with the external circumstances with fantastic weather, hospitality stations and a subsequent performance by the band Six Across, but in the end a mediocre performance was enough for VfB to win 1-0 and win the district cup in the 75th year of the league existence.
The BLSV district chairman Ingrid Golanski noted this small, special anniversary at the award ceremony and was delighted with the big final day in Forstinning, including the harmonious organization by VfB and the sports home host Thomas Letsch.
Despite being a favourite: there is no clear class difference

Of course, VfB, as the future regional league team, went into the game as the big favorite and actually always had control over the game, but there was no clear class difference against the bravely fighting Anzinger.
The district league from the neighboring town even had the first really big chance of the game: In the 14th minute of the game, a fine pass cut through the Forstinningen defense, Alexander Muck started at exactly the right time and stormed towards the goal.
But VfB goalkeeper Marko Susac proved his sense of timing and fended off Muck's attempt.
In the period that followed, favorite Forstinning controlled the action, but there were no compelling scenes in the penalty area.
One of the reasons for this was the actually inexplicable bad pass rate in the team of coach Ivica Coric.
Many balls landed unchallenged out of bounds.
Shortly before the change of sides, the newly married defensive edge Mathias Hirt caused danger again with a header after a corner kick, but the play equipment just missed the targeted long corner.
Dimitar Kirchev scores the goal of the day
Substitute Dimitar Kirchev scored the goal of the day in the second period.
Captain Korbinian Hollerieth defended the ball in the penalty area and passed it through to Kirchev, and the left foot then completed the goal safely to make it 1-0 (47th).
Coric then switched happily, but VfB-Express just didn't want to get going.
SV Anzing continued to defend itself with all means and kept the narrow result.
And in the last few minutes of the game, with a few general meetings in the Forstinninger penalty area, caused a few Forstinninger tremors, but one in the end was held by the defense of the new state league club VfB.
