After three frustrating years characterized mostly by serious injuries, Golden State returned to the NBA Finals after a 110-120 victory over Dallas and completed a 1-4 one-sided series.
The Warriors' comeback, which has become accustomed to the coveted status in recent years, is intertwined with Clay Thompson's comeback.
The wonderful slinger, who underwent two surgeries and had to undergo two years of rehabilitation, was not at his best in this playoffs, but finally exploded with 32 points and was the one who led his team to a sixth final in eight years.

Thompson, who scored 19 points already in the first half, did not hesitate to throw off the arc and was accurate on eight of the 16 shots he took.
Thompson Haifa on an anemic game by Steph Kerry who scored only 15 points in bad percentages (5 out of 17), but was nevertheless selected as the outstanding player of the Western Conference Finals series.
Kwon Looney “killed” Dallas under the baskets with 18 rebounds, seven of them on offense, with Drymond Green flirting with a triple-double and recording great numbers of 17 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds.
"It's hard to put into words how I feel," said the excited Thompson, "at this time last year I was just starting to run again and do exercises on the field. Now I feel myself again. Feeling I can explode, confident in my movements, I'm grateful."
"You can see how much he's been missing in the last two years," said Drymond Green, "we'm lucky we have Clay. We always knew how good he was."
The dynasty continues.

And if anyone is wondering if Golden State is indeed a "dynasty".
Well only Michael Jordan's Chicago, Magic Johnson's Lakers and Bill Russell's Boston in the '50s and' 60s were the only three teams to make an NBA Finals appearance in six out of eight years.
"Reaching the finals in six out of eight years is an achievement that is hard for me to digest," said Steve Kerr. "It takes a tremendous amount of talent, determination and work to do such a thing."
He'll be back to this class again, rest assured.

Golden State will be waiting for the winner of the series between Miami and Boston, while Dallas is licking its wounds after a great playoff for them that included a very surprising dismissal of Phoenix.
Luka Doncic, who was very weak in the first half but led a 0:15 run at the end of the third quarter, expressed frustration and said: "I do not like to lose, especially not like that. I played terribly. But if we talk about our season, I'm really proud "In this group. No one believed we would get here. But I promised we would fight to the end."
