The young Israeli team is currently preparing for the start of the upcoming Euro qualifying campaign, and coach Guy Luzon, who returned for a second cadence, this morning (Friday) announced the squad for the pair of opening games against Latvia (June 2) and San Marino (June 7).
The most prominent name on the roster is Maccabi Tel Aviv striker, Oscar Gluch, who received a debut summons, after winning several opportunities in the senior team in the last part of the season, and proved himself with important goals and a lot of confidence.
Amir Berkowitz, who finished the season well in the Maccabi Netanya uniform, will also be on the young team's squad for the first time and will try to prove himself.
Guy Luzon. Interesting summonses,
Luzon also summoned a pair of juniors, the end of Podgrano who completed a season of few opportunities in a special uniform from Serie A, and Ilai Almkeys who went down with Admira Waker to the second division in Austria.
At the gate, the priority is expected to be given to Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, while in defense it will be interesting to see Autumn Lamkin from Hapoel Tel Aviv with a first summons.
The link is expected to be led by Ido Shachar, who stood out under Luzon at Maccabi Petah Tikva and was relegated, as well as Hamudi Canaan, who excelled this season at MS Ashdod.
On the other hand, alongside Gluch and Podgrano, Osher Davida (Hapoel Tel Aviv) and Stav Nachmani (Hapoel Nof Hagalil) may get a chance, probably against the weaker teams.
