FC Bayern is looking for a Lewandowski successor.
Lothar Matthäus does not see a suitable replacement in Sadio Mané and makes another suggestion.
Munich – Robert Lewandowski has finally broken with FC Bayern and wants to leave the club this summer.
The Pole sees no future in Munich.
"My story at FC Bayern is over.
I can't imagine further good cooperation," said Lewandowski on Monday at a press conference of the Polish national team.
FC Bayern Munich has so far rigorously refused to change its goal machine.
"Bayern can't stop me with violence," said Lewandowski bluntly: "I can't imagine continuing to work with Bayern after the incidents in recent months." Sooner or later, the FCB bosses will have to find a successor for Find Lewandowski, whose contract runs until 2023.

FC Bayern: Lothar Matthäus does not see Mané as Lewandowski's successor
A hot lead leads to Sadio Mané.
However, Lothar Matthäus does not see a suitable Lewandowski successor in the Senegalese.
"But is Mané the replacement for Robert Lewandowski?
I do not think so.
Apart from the fact that there is no replacement for the Pole in the world, I don't see Mané as a center forward, but on the wing," writes the ex-Bayern captain in his Sky column.
However, the 30-year-old Liverpool star would be "an absolute super transfer" and "a wonderful attraction for the whole Bundesliga".
Nevertheless, Matthäus believes in a Mané transfer instead of Lewandowski.
"I have the feeling that it's all about getting as much transfer fee from FC Barcelona as you can then reinvest one-to-one in Mane," says the 61-year-old.

FC Bayern: Matthäus brings Kalajdzic into play as Lewandowski's successor
Barcelona have apparently submitted a first offer for Lewandowski to Bayern Munich for 32 million euros, Mané is said to fall into a similar price category and cost around 40 million euros.
Nevertheless, the German record champions would still need a central striker if Lewandowski were to change, said Matthäus.
He also made a suggestion.

This “could be Sasa Kalajdzic from VfB Stuttgart.
He probably doesn't score 40 goals, but definitely 25".
The Austrian recently stated that nothing is out of the question and that he is open to everything.
However, if Mané were signed, Bayern would also have an oversupply of wingers.
With Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman there would be too many offensive wingers in the team.
"With Serge Gnabry it smells at least somewhat like farewell," speculated Matthäus.
Gnabry hesitates with a contract extension at Bayern.
