Alexander Zverev is in the semifinals of the French Open after an outstanding performance.

The Olympic champion defeated the exceptional Spanish talent Carlos Alcaraz 6: 4, 6: 4, 4: 6, 7: 6 (9: 7) and was convincing across the board.

Zverev beat a top ten player in a major for the first time in the twelfth attempt.
