Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - Maccabi Tel Aviv 2: 0 (Sport 1)
The Serbian media claim: Vladan Ivic is approaching Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Despite reports that Ivica is one of the two finalists to coach Partizan Belgrade, the B92 website reported yesterday (Wednesday) that chances are Beavers Natcho's team will be forced to sign a foreign coach after talks with candidates from the local market did not progress as expected.
Ivica has been mentioned as a leading candidate for the partisan alongside Marko Nikolic, but according to the latest report, the chances of him being appointed coach of the Serbian runner-up are low.
"Ivica is getting closer to Maccabi Tel Aviv, which has realized that with him it will return to fight for the championship. He will be the replacement for Mladen Krastic, who was also mentioned as a candidate for the Belgrade partisan but is not interested in coaching in Serbia at this stage."

As mentioned, Ivica was also mentioned during the summer as a candidate for CSKA Moscow. According to an article in Sport Express, the Russian team marked Ivica and placed him as a high priority as the successor to Alexei Berezotsky, the coach last season who finished only fifth in the local league.
