Maccabi Tel Aviv is close to deciding on the identity of its coach next season and it is expected to decide on this in the coming days.
Vladan Ivic is still the leading candidate, but last week two more coaches joined with whom Maccabi Tel Aviv is talking.
The club has not yet finally decided who to choose and there is a big dilemma between Ivica, who has already proven himself when he led the club to two championships, and a new coach who will come to Israel for the first time.

A source close to Maccabi Tel Aviv claimed tonight: "This is a decision that should be made by the beginning of next week. There are reasons why there is a dilemma. At this point in time, it is no longer possible to determine who will coach Maccabi Tel Aviv next season."
As you may recall, Maccabi Tel Aviv announced last week to Mladen Krestajic that he will not continue with them for another season because he did not meet the results that Mitch Goldhaar expected to achieve.
At this point the team was already supposed to have a signed coach, but things were postponed and will probably close within a few days.
