Erdinger wrestlers have a lot planned for Pentecost Sunday, including a surprise bag match
Erding – Hot fights can be seen in Erding on Pentecost Sunday: that's when the Erding Wrestling Show (EWS) will once again be doing the honors in the Schollbach sports park.
And this time the boys and girls around promoter Christof Haas want nothing less than to put on the biggest EWS show of all time.
At least that's what the show fighter squad announces.
It should be eleven fights this time, including some title decisions.
Fighters from all over Germany and large parts of Europe and beyond throw themselves onto the boards for the Erding audience.
These include Victor Ransom from England, Michael Kovac from Austria, Ricky Sky from Slovakia and George Khoukaz, who is originally from Syria.
But the local wrestlers also want to heat up the audience this evening.
Wasserburger Don Sheen, for example, puts his EWS Championship at stake, while local hero Nobody teams up with veteran Michael Kovac against manager Alex Wonder's henchmen, Officer Nick and Officer Corey, for the EWS Tag Team Title.
And if you already announce the biggest show of all time, it can of course still be a special treat, in the form of a "Three Stages of Hell Match".
Boris Pain and Terrible Ted Jr. will face off for the Hardcore Championship.
The highlight of this match: Three different fights are fought in one.
For example, one match can result in a normal fight outcome with a pin – i.e., counting out up to three times on the shoulder – or surrender, while in the next duel the goal can be to get the opponent through a table.
"An exciting grab bag for our fans," says promoter Haas.
Tickets for the wrestling evening were available in advance at eventim.de.
If you didn't grab it here, you can still get tickets at the box office.
The Schollbach sports park opens its doors at 6 p.m., the show then begins at 7 p.m.
