A great achievement for judoka Inbal Shemesh, who today (Saturday) won the gold medal at the Tbilisi Grand Slam in Georgia and burst into tears.
Shemesh - the competitor in the weight category up to 63 kg - competed in the final stage against the veteran Brazilian (34) Catalin Quadros, a bronze medalist from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, ranked sixth in the world, when she absorbed from the Israeli Vasari 53 seconds to finish.
Earlier, Sun defeated rivals France and the Netherlands and in the semi-finals, overtook Tamirs Cordis - also from Brazil - in an impressive iPhone while hugging.
Following the great achievement so far in her career, one could see the excitement as the sun burst into tears at the end.

It is important to note that the Israeli delegation to the competition was sparse, with the women taking off for the last day to a training camp and the men only recently returning from their own camp.
All seniors will take part in the Mongolia Grand Slam at the end of the month.
The next competition is in fact also the official jump shot towards the Paris Olympics 2024. From there the counting of the scores for the world rankings will begin, from which the athletes will emerge for the Olympics.
