Climber Yuval Shamla finished today (Sunday) in sixth place in the European Cup Round of Leading competition, held in the city of Arco in Italy, with one of his best achievements in the industry. 

The 23-year-old, who hopes to reach the Paris Olympics in two years, finished the qualifying round in eighth place and in the semi-finals continued with great ability, achieving a 48-point result, giving him sixth place and a place in the final. 

In the final itself, who fully opened the track when he passed the first part quite easily, but as he progressed, he struggled in grips and eventually achieved with 25+ grips, which earned him sixth place overall, with Slovenian Milan Persker winning gold with 31+ grips. 

For Shmela, who is recognized as the winner of the last season of the TV show Ninja, this is one of the best achievements of his career in the climbing industry, when two years ago, he finished fifth at the European Championships in the combined and leading, the record ranking was eighth in the 2017 World Cup. 

Just recently, a series of round-robin competitions began in the industry, first entering the Tokyo Olympics last year, with the next two and a half months expecting a number of more competitions, including a World Cup round that gives world ranking points, all the way to Paris.
