Last night, Aviero watched from the stands with her son wearing the Portugal national team uniform for the first time in a long time, and was moved to tears by his gesture.

"She was reborn after the disease, and he was reborn after the drought," the Portuguese media described the moving moment in pictorial language.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos said at the end: "What more can be said about him? He is still the best player in the world, that's all I have to say."

Ronaldo posted an Instagram post after the game and wrote: "A very important victory in our journey. There is a lot of pride and confidence in this team, a lot of strength to give Portugal what it so desperately wants - victories and convincing football. It seems like the season is over, but in fact it is just beginning ... ".
