Before Germany's international match against England, Hansi Flick once again commented on Leroy Sané from FC Bayern on ZDF.
The ex-Munich becomes clear.
Munich - It's a real classic of international football: Germany meets England in Munich (here in the live ticker).
IPPEN.MEDIA summarizes the voices from ZDF.
Hansi Flick (Bundestrainer Deutschland) before the game over ...
... about one-on-one talks with the DFB players:
"The most important thing was the review of the Italy game.
There were some things that weren't good.
It was good how we came back.
The willingness to be active again and bring in intensity.
A lot of things were right, we have to do that today.”
… on personnel changes against England:
“That's not a consequence of the Italy game.
We have four games after a long season.
We have great quality and density in the team.
We have absolute faith in the players.
I'm optimistic for today."
... about Bayern star Leroy Sané, who initially sat on the bench:
"It's a very highly talented player, absolutely.
I think he had a very good period from September to November this year.
He has to try to continuously bring this quality into play.
We support him with everything we can.
We talk a lot with Leroy.
He's fast, tricky, can make a difference.”
... more about the role of Munich's Sané:
“The most important thing is that he feels trust.
If someone feels that, they eventually give it back.
It's a special game for him against England when he comes in.
He played for Man City, knows one or the other.
We're hoping for what everyone wants to see: a Leroy at his best."
