Bayern's goalgetter delivered again this season like on an assembly line.

As a result, he won a European title.

Munich – The next title for world footballer Robert Lewandowski from German champion FC Bayern Munich: The goalgetter has again won the Golden Shoe as the most accurate goalscorer in Europe with 70 points.

The Isarstadt announced this on Sunday.

Thanks to his 35 goals in the past season, the Pole defended his title in front of Kylian Mbappé (28) from Paris St. Germain, the world champion had 56 points.

A Champions League winner follows: Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) and ex-Dortmunder Ciro Immobile (Lazio Rome/each 27 goals/54 points) finished third.

Leverkusen's Patrik Schick (24 goals/48 points) was sixth, while Erling Haaland (22/44) from Borussia Dortmund was tenth.

The Golden Boot is awarded by the European Sports Media association and honors the top scorer in the top divisions of the UEFA member associations.

The five strongest leagues according to the ranking of the European Football Union (UEFA) have a coefficient of 2, the leagues behind them from position six to 22 have a coefficient of 1.5.

Lewandowksi had won the trophy for the first time in the previous season with his 40 goals.

Lionel Messi is the record winner with six titles.

It could have been Lewandowski's last season at Bayern, although the Bayern bosses see it differently - his potential successor Sadio Mané, however, no longer seems certain that he will join Bayern.
