third time ice cream?

Liverpool today (Wednesday) outright rejected Bayern Munich's second offer for Sadio Mane, and reportedly in Europe even described it as a "joke".

After the first rejection, the Bavarians have submitted a new offer for the Senegalese star for £ 30m, which is split into £ 23.5m and another £ 6.5m on bonuses.

But it turns out that the bonus clauses are particularly delusional and in fact on the verge of being impossible.

To activate the bonus clauses, Bayern Munich need to complete three consecutive trebles, while the striker will have to win the Golden Ball no less than three times.

So there is no doubt why Liverpool treated the offer with contempt.

🚨 BREAKING: Liverpool have rejected Bayern Munich's latest offer for Sadio Mané which would only reach £ 30 million should the German club win the Champions League, and the Senegal forward lift the Ballon d'Or, in each of the next three seasons.

But regardless of the bonuses, even if activated, the English are demanding at least £ 40m for Mane, so the German champions need to drastically improve their offer if they want to land the talented Senegalese in Germany next season.
