Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo team defeated Al-Karama in the first match of the final round of the Men’s Basketball League, with a score of 73-56 points, which was held at Al-Hamdaniya Hall in Aleppo.
The first quarter ended in favor of Al-Karama with 18-17 points, and Al-Ahly of Aleppo advanced in the second quarter by 10-20 points, and Al-Karama outperformed in the third quarter by 11-15 points, while Al-Ahly of Aleppo advanced in the last quarter by 25-13 points.
Al-Ahly of Aleppo will meet in the second match of the final round with Al-Karama again the day after tomorrow on the tenth of this month in the same hall, while the third round will be held next Monday at Ghazwan Abu Zaid Hall in Homs.
Al-Ittihad Ahli Aleppo qualified for the final round after defeating Al-Jalaa team in three matches against a loss in the semi-finals. As for Al-Karama, it qualified for the final after defeating Al-Wahda in a playoff match, after they exchanged wins in the four matches during this round with two wins for each.
It is noteworthy that the tournament system stipulates that the two teams qualified for the final round play five matches, the winner of three of which will be crowned with the league title.
