The district teams are happy about a very attractive district league east with three former state league teams.

Erding

– The division of the Upper Bavarian district leagues for the 2022/23 season is out.

The positive: With FC Moosinning, TSV Dorfen, FC Langengeisling and newly promoted FC Finsing, all four district teams are in the Eastern League.

The tricky thing: Three ex-state league teams should make the league very difficult - or particularly attractive, as the representatives of all four district associations emphasized.

"I think it's great that all four Erdinger teams are in one group," says Moosinning's chairman Karl Thumbs.

Not only because of the three state league teams, but also because runner-up ESV Freilassing did not get promoted, "one cannot automatically assume that we will be able to play at the top again in the 22/23 season," says Thumbs.

"Eight new clubs in the league is of course a rather unusual fluctuation, but it brings with it great anticipation."

Markus Wetzel, sporting director of TSV Dorfen, called the new district league “a brutal program, but we are really looking forward to it.” He lists: “Sportbund Rosenheim, Kastl and Töging from the state league, plus the top teams from Freilassing and Moosinning, “ and you shouldn't underestimate the new ones like Ostermünchen or Srbjia either.

We are looking forward to many well-known clubs and places, but also some that are still unknown to us.”

That's how his colleague Maxi Maier from FC Langengeisling sees it.

“We really wanted to stay in Group East.

It's nice that Finsing has also joined our group.

It's going to be an exciting season.

We're already looking forward to away trips, such as to Siegsdorf, or games in beautiful stadiums like Freilassing."

According to Robert Hoffmann, FC Finsing is also happy “that our wish regarding the division into groups has come true.

We're already looking forward to interesting district derbies and one or two bus trips with our fans to the Oberland."
