The young athletes from Dorfen, Emilia Kurz and Maria Stummer, presented themselves in top form just in time for the Bavarian athletics block all-around championship in Emmering.

Dorfen – In the large field of participants in the W 14, Kurz showed the best performance out of a total of 28 starters from all seven administrative districts and won gold.

The five-meter mark, which the villager had clearly surpassed a week earlier, she did not crack because of her jump far in front of the board.

The TSV athlete won the 100 m sprint with a personal best (13.09 seconds).

The competition couldn't follow her in the ball throw either, because her 47.00 m with the 200 gram ball also meant a new personal best and valuable points in the fight for the medals.
