The only player to score more goals than Cain in the English national team uniform is the legendary former striker Wayne Rooney who scored 53 goals in 120 appearances.
After tonight, Kane seems to be the safest way to get through it - and get into the history books of English football.
The Tottenham striker with 50 goals in just 71 appearances.
Fifteen of Kane's 50 goals for England have been scored on penalties from the penalty spot, more than any other English player, with whoever is next on the list being Frank Lampard the Great with nine.
