Hapoel Hadera today (Wednesday) signed 21-year-old Nigerian stopper Philip Apola for one season.
Afula, who played last season in Dolgoprodny from the second Russian league, belongs to the Russian club Sochi and was loaned to Hadera for one season.
Apollo is the fourth foreigner of the team and joins Jonathan Sisa, Kalman Strum and Stephen Alfred who have already signed.
After the saga at the beginning of the season with Nir Berkowitz's decision to leave the team, and continue with the Ness Ziona section, new coach Assaf Nimani worked hard to build the team - and this signing almost completes the composition of the foreigners.
