Luca Modric today (Wednesday) officially extended his contract at Real Madrid and signed for another season - until 2023.
The Blancos uploaded a photo in which the connection is photographed together with the club's president, Florentino Perez, when they both sign the contract together, and even a video in which they print a new shirt that says "Modric" and below the number 2023.
The excellent Croatian is in fact about to complete his 11th season in the white uniform of the European champion.
The 36-year-old Modric joined Blancos a decade ago, and since then has managed to win three championships, a trophy, and five Champions Cups with Real Madrid.
He also won the Golden Ball in 2018 after his World Cup appearance, in which he led Croatia to the final against France.

Meanwhile, interesting reports are also coming from Gareth Bale.
As you may recall, the Welshman officially parted ways with Real Madrid after nine years a week ago and now a new team has entered the list of candidates for his absorption and it is the Madrid kidnapper.
Club president Angel Torres Sanchez said today: "We spoke to Gareth Bale's agent just 45 minutes ago, he offered it to us. We will consider that possibility."
