Bayern Bundesliga club VfB Hallbergmoos is busy working on its squad for the new season.

A player from SE Freising is also among the newcomers.

Hallbergmoos

– After the last game and the triumph in the relegation everything has to happen very quickly at VfB Hallbergmoos, who want to expand the squad for his second Bayernliga season.

Especially in the offensive, the club has to partially reposition itself.

But something is also happening at the back.

It has long been known that with captain and central defender Dennis Hammerl, goalkeeper Ferdinand Kozel and six Thomas Edlböck, three VfB legends will leave the team - but maybe not the club.

The club tries to keep them for the "second" where they would have less training effort.

In any case, none of the three currently has any major change ambitions.

Aygün and Sahin switch to Türkgücü

On the other hand, striker Kaan Aygün and midfielder Mert Sahin move on.

Both were poached from Türkgücü Munich, which is now repositioning itself in the regional league after the bankruptcy.

This project is attractive for both of them in view of the higher division, VfB could not keep it.

Sahin in particular has really blossomed lately.

Sports director Anselm Küchle is reluctant to let the offensive duo go.

In addition, there was still a question mark behind two footballers.

Striker Andre Gasteiger was greeted with great expectations before last season – but he wasn't really an option in the strong second half of the season.

Sandro Cazorla is a young striker who has potential but has not yet arrived in men's football.

He had his chances but couldn't take them.

According to VfB sports director Küchle, a decision has now been made regarding both personalities: They will look for a new challenge in consultation with the club.

Either way: "We want to continue on our way, with young players who have a lot of potential," says Küchle.

And he can already present the first newcomers with an exciting CV: Maurice David (20), a striker with a lot of quality, comes from league neighbors FC Ismaning.

He is 1.94 meters tall, beefy and still very fast.

In the last round of points he scored five goals in 19 Bayernliga games.

An option for the offensive flanks is Cengiz Basaran (19), who joins from the state league TuS Geretsried.

Right-back Osaro Aiteniora (28) joins the Bavarian league squad from Landesliga-Club SE Freising.

The Nigerian will have an exciting duel with Johannes Petschner in the back four on the right.

Meanwhile, Dario Pavlovic (18) from TSV 1860 Munich II becomes the second goalkeeper, he is supposed to put pressure on Hallberg's new number one Martin Dinkel after his sensational development.

Planning is far from complete

With these four new additions, however, the planning is far from over.

Many players show great interest in VfB, but wait until the relegation.

"The future in the Bayernliga opens many doors for us," says Anselm Küchle.

"In addition, the relegation games were also an advertisement for football at VfB Hallbergmoos."

Küchle would like to have a third goalkeeper as Noah Mpatsios is set to leave the club.

Otherwise, the focus is primarily on the offensive midfield and the attack, where up to four newcomers are conceivable.

After fourth place in the second half of the table and four relegation games without defeat, Küchle should certainly also get requests from players.

Zinsou leaves VfB: the coaching trio becomes a duo

Matthias Strohmaier is a stroke of luck for VfB Hallbergmoos.

The 28-year-old player-coach unlocked the squad's Bayernliga potential and instilled the "Mia san Mia" in the players from his time at FC Bayern.

However, there will be changes in his team for the new season.

The trainer trio becomes a duo.

Strohmaier's partner is Florian Brachtel, who showed a lot of commitment, got into the job and now has more tasks.

Alban Zinsou will leave the club for professional reasons.

There are rumors that he will take the U19s under his wing at his former club Türkgücü Munich.

The Hallbergmoosers are currently not considering hiring another assistant coach.

After all, VfB has a long-standing coach with a lot of football expertise in technical director Fredi Ostertag.

He could move up to the functional team on the bench in the future.

Meanwhile, a change of goalkeeping coach is certain.

Carsten Altstadt follows Fabian Veit, who thinks highly of sports director Anselm Küchle.

The 29-year-old used to play in the U19 Bundesliga for TSG Hoffenheim and most recently traveled to the USA.
