National soccer player Sara Däbritz (27) moves within the French Division 1 from Paris St. Germain to arch-rival Olympique Lyon.
As the Champions League winner announced on Wednesday, the midfielder will receive a three-year contract until 2025.
"I'm happy and proud to be part of this great Olympique Lyonnais club!" Däbritz wrote on Instagram and published a video of herself in her new jersey.
Last season, Däbritz played 18 league games, scoring eight goals and nine assists.
She made eight appearances in the Champions League (one goal and four assists).
In the championship race, Däbritz and Paris had to give way to their new club, while Lyon easily won the title with a lead of eleven points.
Last year Däbritz and PSG were champions, this year it was at least enough to win the cup.
Däbritz moved from Bayern Munich to Paris in 2019.
Däbritz also plays a key role in the national team
After Däbritz' DFB teammate Dzsenifer Marozsan ruptured his cruciate ligament, the French record champions have one more option in central midfield.
Däbritz is set to play a key role at the upcoming European Championships in England (July 6-31).
So far, the 27-year-old has scored 17 goals in 85 international matches.
She is one of the most experienced actors.
