In the new season, a Pfaffenhofen club will probably have to go to the Erdinger and Freisinger district leagues.

Meanwhile, the district game leader defends himself against criticism.

District

– The number of district league teams from the district of Freising will continue to dwindle next season.

A club from the Pfaffenhofen area will probably have to play away games in Kranzberg, Wartenberg or Taufkirchen in the coming round.

District director Ludwig Schmidt is already naming potential candidates – and defends himself against criticism of the additional relegation.

Most recently, SC Kirchdorf missed the chance against SV Menning to secure the league via the additional relegation.

Before that, TSV Moosburg and TSV Au had already been relegated from the district.

The SVA Palzing still managed to get the district league and the BC Attaching managed to climb into it, so that only the TSV Eching descended from above.

All in all: With TSV Allershausen, SV Kranzberg, district league relegated TSV Eching and promoted FCA Unterbruck, only four of the 14 clubs in district league 2 come from the Freising district, nine more from Erding.

The club that is still missing should be determined in a voluntary additional relegation after the relegation round.

In it, SC Kirchdorf finally defeated TSV Nandlstadt in a district duel.

Both coaches had clearly criticized the BFV officials about the deadline hunt due to the relegation.

District game manager Schmidt: "It was clear to everyone."

This meets with little understanding from district game director Schmidt: "After the first round of relegation, we didn't really have to do anything anymore.

But we from the district game committee had given the clubs the option of still having the chance of a free place in the district league via another round of relegation.

Our offer was based on the voluntary nature of clubs that had actually already been eliminated in the first round - and that was clear to everyone.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Of course, it was very unfortunate in the case of Kirchdorf that the final of the additional relegation against Menning was stopped at 2-0 due to darkness.

However, this decision is purely at the discretion of the referee on site, he has no influence on it, emphasizes Schmidt.

Manching II, Baar-Ebenhausen or Hohenwart?

Another point of criticism, namely the lack of floodlights in evening games like in Rohrbach, can be understood by the district game director.

He desperately had to look for places and organizers in order to be able to hold the games at all.

If no clubs register that meet such requirements as floodlights on the main square, that is unpleasant, but cannot be changed.

Mainly because other criteria, such as the travel route of both clubs, also played an important role.

Due to SCK's 1-0 defeat in a repeat kick against Menning, the clubs from the Pfaffenhofen/Ingolstadt area now have an overhang.

For one of the district league clubs that has played in Group 1 so far, this means many kilometers in away games in the 2022/23 season.

Because a club from the Pfaffenhofen district will probably have to play in a district league group with the Erdinger and Freisinger teams.

According to district director Ludwig Schmidt, this scenario could threaten teams like SV Manching II, TSV Baar-Ebenhausen or TSV Hohenwart.
