The scorer won the gold medal at the World Cup held in France • The Israeli scored 634 points in the final of the 10-meter recumbent air rifle competition

Scorer Julia Chernoy secured her place at the Paralympic Games in Paris today (Thursday) in more than two years, after winning the gold medal at the World Cup in France in a 10-meter recumbent air rifle competition.

Chernoy first advanced to the qualifiers, where it scored 634 points and was temporarily ranked third, but in the final itself, it scored 254.4 points, giving it first place overall and a ticket to the biggest and most important sporting event.

In doing so, Chernoy, coached by Guy Strick, became the first athlete to secure a place in the Israeli delegation to the Paralympic Games for the second time in a row, having also participated in the Tokyo Games.

The amazing fact is that the Rio Olympics in 201, the scorer, represented Israel in the rowing industry.

Chernoy was born in Kazakhstan with mild cerebral palsy, which makes it difficult for her to walk on her right foot, use her right hand and she uses a walking stick.

She immigrated to Israel without her family in 2000 from Belarus through an outstanding program.
