The contact was appointed Menachem Koretzky's assistant coach, alongside current assistant Ravid Gazal, and he will also coach in the club's youth department.
Rochet played in the blue uniform from 2006 to 2015, returning for a second term at his youth club in the 2020 season.
He said after the announcement: "Without too many dramas, tears or tearing shirts, my part as an active player has come to an end and I just want to say a small word with great meaning - thank you. Thank you for winning every possible title in Israeli football. Thank you for the summons to the Israeli team. Thanks for breaking KS's all-time record.
