Damascus-SANA
The Syrian women's table tennis team will start tomorrow a closed camp in preparation for the Asian qualifiers within the West Asian group, which will be hosted by the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the twenty-second of this month, which qualifies for the world championship.
In a statement to SANA, the Secretary of the Game Association, Sawsan Mustafa, stated that participation was limited to the women's category, as we have a great opportunity to obtain one of the two qualification cards for the World Championship in this category, while there is great difficulty in ensuring the qualification of the junior team.
Mustafa added that the team will adhere, as of tomorrow, Sunday, to a closed camp in Damascus, under the supervision of coach Tony Abu Asli, until the time of travel to reach the required technical readiness.
The delegation of our team includes Mustafa Al-Wali as the head of the delegation, Sawsan Mustafa as the administrator, Tony Abu Asali as the coach, and four players: Hind Zaza, Naya Suleiman, Ibaa Hallaq and Anana Kurdi.
