Real sign Tchouameni for six years

Champions League winners Real Madrid have secured the services of French international Aurélien Tchouaméni – and are said to be paying deep into their pockets for the 22-year-old.

The club did not disclose the transfer fee.

However, the trade journal "AS" and other Spanish media reported, citing club circles, that Real would transfer 80 million euros to the club from the Principality - plus performance-related bonuses of up to 20 million.

Real had set aside a three-digit million amount as earnest money for the commitment of PSG star Kylian Mbappé.

After he then extended in Paris, the resources were free for Tchouaméni.

This comes from AS Monaco and signs a six-year contract with the Spanish soccer champions until the summer of 2028. He will be presented in Madrid on Tuesday.

Tchouaméni has made eleven appearances for the France national team, scoring one goal.

The young professional won the Nations League last year with the 2018 world champion.

Veljkovic extended in Bremen

Serbian international Milos Veljkovic will stay with Werder Bremen even after promotion to the Bundesliga.

The 26-year-old central defender has extended his expiring contract by three years, the club announced on Saturday.

After the contract extension with Veljkovic, Bremen's central defense is complete for the new season.

Amos Pieper (Arminia Bielefeld) and Niklas Stark (Hertha BSC) have been newly signed for this area, captain Ömer Toprak has left the club.

"After promotion to the Bundesliga, it was clear to me that Bremen would be my first point of contact," said Veljkovic, who joined Werder from Tottenham Hotspur in February 2016.

+++ RUMOR +++

Nagelsmann in conversation with Mané?

The possible move from Sadio Mané to Munich is apparently becoming more concrete: According to the broadcaster Sky, Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke to the courted Liverpool star.

Accordingly, the Senegalese have shown themselves to be very flexible.

When asked in which position he sees himself, he is said to have answered that he plays where he is needed.

"Mané wants to go to Bayern and clearly signaled in the talks: I just want to move to Munich," the Sky report said.

However, the two clubs should not yet agree: According to media reports, Liverpool FC recently rejected a second offer from FC Bayern Munich for the striker.

The German soccer record champion is said to have increased his first offer from 25 million to 30 million pounds (around 35 million euros) including bonus payments.

This fee for the 30-year-old attacker should contain bonuses of up to 7.5 million euros.

The Premier League club from Liverpool, coached by Jürgen Klopp, still thinks the offer is too low, but according to the English newspaper "Daily Mail" is now expecting another offer from Munich.

According to The Times newspaper, Liverpool only wants to enter into negotiations with a bid of 42.5 million pounds (about 50 million euros).

But the Reds are also ready to accommodate Bayern.

Mané's move to Munich has been speculated for weeks.

Does Dortmund want the next national player?

According to Sky information, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund is interested in Hoffenheim's David Raum.

BVB wanted to "absolutely" sign the 24-year-old, it said.

Raum still has a contract with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim until June 30, 2026.

The transfer is still a long way off, however, since Raum's exit clause is said to be 30 million euros, the Sky report said.

After Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck and Karim Adeyemi, Raum would be the next national soccer player to move to Dortmund.
