Formula 1 in the live ticker: qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Mick Schumacher will again start from one of the lower positions in qualifying in Baku.

Qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on Saturday afternoon.

From 4 p.m. there is a fight for the placements in the live ticker.

Baku – In the third practice session on the Baku City Circuit, Sergio Perez confirmed his strong form. The Mexican turned the fastest lap in 1:43.170 minutes and ended up 0.070 seconds ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.

Nevertheless, the Monegasque is aiming for the first Ferrari success in two months at the eighth Formula 1 race weekend.

Formula 1: Qualifying for the Azerbaijan GP: Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher start at the back

World champion Max Verstappen (+0.279) was third in the last practice session on Saturday, followed by Carlos Sainz in the second Ferrari (+0.426).

Red Bull and the Scuderia set themselves significantly apart from the competition.

The two German drivers also lagged behind, Sebastian Vettel still finished tenth (+1.519) and ended up in midfield, while Mick Schumacher im Haas (+2.362) only finished 18th.
