Budapest – Hansi Flick won his first eight games as national coach, but recently there were three 1-1 draws.

However, the opponents were well-known: In March there was a draw against the Netherlands, followed last week by two draws against the European Championship finalists Italy and England.

Now the DFB team wants to win again in Hungary.

National coach Hansi Flick is keeping a low profile: Only Manuel Neuer's starting eleven is safe

Before the third group game of the Nations League in Budapest, Flick spoke of a “very big” task for his team.

"Everyone has to show 100 percent willingness to perform," said the former Bayern Munich coach.

Flick gave a little insight into his starting eleven in advance.

So Manuel Neuer, who showed an outstanding performance against England, will be in the box again.

However, the 57-year-old did not want to reveal more.

Flick only hinted that he would bring a mix of the lineups from the past two games.

"It's good when you're used to it," said the man from Heidelberg on Friday.

For example, it is still unclear whether Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka or Ilkay Gündogan will start in central midfield.

The opponent is known to the German team from last year's European Championship group game, Leon Goretzka scored the decisive goal to make it 2-2.

Hungary got off to a good start in the Nations League, defeating England 1-0, but against Italy of all places it was a 2-1 defeat for Italian coach Marco Rossi's team.

The Hungarian team also includes some Bundesliga professionals who know many of their opponents from last season.

The three RB Leipzig players Peter Gulacsi, Willi Orban and Dominik Szoboszlai will probably start today, and Roland Sallai from SC Freiburg could also cause a stir on the offensive against Germany.

András Schäfer from Union Berlin, on the other hand, is serving a yellow card and will not be there.
