After the accident in Monaco, Mick Schumacher wanted to really attack again at the Grand Prix in Baku.

A defect in the car stopped him in the first practice session

Baku - After just a few laps, Mick Schumacher was slowed down in the opening practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

In Monaco, the young driver was responsible for his own retirement, but this time it's not his fault.

A defective cooling hose meant that the German was no longer able to explore the street circuit.

Mick Schumacher: Bad luck sticks to his foot

There is no end in sight to Mick Schumacher's bad luck in Baku either.

During the opening practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Friday in Baku, the Haas driver rolled out in his defective car after just a few laps.

The reason for the breakdown was a cooling leak on the racing car.

Schumacher therefore had to do without the rest of the practice session and lost important time to get used to it.

After his accidents in Saudi Arabia, Miami and Monaco, the 23-year-old is under increasing pressure.

Aside from Williams' Nicholas Latifi, Schumacher is the only driver still without a point this season.

Mick Schumacher: His uncle Ralf jumps to his side

"I've had situations like this before, where it was difficult at the beginning of the year, but in the end I won the championship," said Schumacher before training at Sky.

He wants to convert the pressure, which has been increasing lately, into motivation.

Most recently, the pressure on Michael Schumacher's son grew noticeably.

So much so that his uncle Ralf Schumacher felt compelled to make a public statement in which he described Mick's harsh leadership style as "not up to date".
