Stephen Kerry after the performance in Game 4 of the Finals Series (from Twitter)
When Stephen Kerry looks back on his historic career, he will surely remember June 11, 2022 - the day he recorded one of his greatest games.
The Golden State star had 43 points and 10 rebounds in a 97-107 victory over Boston in Game 4 of the Finals Series, an evening in which he carried the team on his back and did not shy away from a tough and defensive opponent who controlled the pace and led for most of the minutes.
Kerry became the first player ever to reach 40 points, 10 rebounds and 7 threes in a playoff game, and the second oldest player after LeBron James with 40 of 10 in the finals.
In general, at 34, Kerry shows tremendous fitness.
His averages so far in the final series - 34.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, two steals, 50 percent from the field and 40 percent off the arc (!) - illustrate that despite his advanced age, he is still at his peak.

"Yeah, that was probably his best performance in a final game," Clay Thompson said, "it's amazing how huge this man's heart is. He just carried us on his back tonight."
Drymond Green (who once again suffered a weak West, and once again received "special" treatment from Boston fans) also praised his teammate Trio - who equaled the ever-highest number of wins of three players in the final, with 19 such (like Tim Duncan, Mano Ginobili and Tony Parker) .
"He was tremendous, huge, wonderful. He led us tonight, and it was fun to see it," Green said.
Steve Kerr has a simple explanation for Kerry's explosion in the final series.
He says he is simply in the best physical condition of his career.
"I don't think he had a point in his career that he was so physically strong. He's in fantastic physical condition, the best he's had since I started working with him. So he can play that way."
Across the NBA, LeBron was stunned: "He's insane"

Kerry's presentation raised the question of whether Kerry was underappreciated.
Devin Wade tweeted that "everyone is talking about what Steph Kerry is missing, but maybe we should talk about what he has - he's a piece of motherfucker!", And in response wrote to Baron James: "Right! It's rare to see such a player, and people do not like to appreciate or like rare players. "
