The Briton could come out of retirement next December to unify all the heavyweight titles, with an XXL scholarship in Saudi Arabia.

I wanted to go to the top, with a bang.

Nearly 100,000 people at Wembley, a victory by K.-O.

: The Gypsy King (his nickname) won't be forgotten anytime soon, and no amount of money will get me out of retirement because I'm happy.

So spoke Tyson Fury at the end of April, after his clear victory against his compatriot Dillian Whyte, knocked out in the 6th round.

The tone was assured.

However, a month and a half later, this retirement seems more than uncertain according to the Daily Mail.

The British daily announces that Fury is currently in talks to fight a fight next December, against the winner of the duel between another Briton, Anthony Joshua, and the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

At stake, nothing less than the unification of all the world titles in the heavyweight category since Fury remains the WBC champion, while the Joshua-Usyk fight will offer the winner the WBA, IBF and WBO belts.

A prospect that could bring the " Gypsy King

" out of retirement

by allowing him to go even higher than after his fight at Wembley last April.

This prestigious fight should take place in Saudi Arabia and the sumptuous indoor stadium recently built in Jeddah.

He would then be part of the project led by Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, who wishes, according to the English tabloid, to demonstrate that "

Saudi Arabia is much more than an oil country, and that sport and culture are an integral part of it.

An ambition already materialized by the opposition between Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. in December 2019 in Diriyah.

But there, the kingdom of the Middle East would move up a gear since a sum of 100 million dollars is mentioned for the Joshua-Usyk fight, which means that we must count on even more for that of Fury then.

And this one could take place on December 17, just before the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
