Winner of the Coupe de France against Nantes (36-31) a few days after having succeeded in the Grand Slam in the league, PSG can leave

The PSG players have (finally) gone on vacation with the satisfaction of having accomplished their duty.

After a perfect championship, 30 victories in as many games, they put an end to this season by winning the Coupe de France.

However, something is missing from the list: the Champions League.

Still and always.

Victim of an attack and six stab wounds in the back on January 1, a few hours before joining the French handball team, Parisian left-back Elohim Prandi also ended a memorable season.

What feeling prevails after this victory in the Coupe de France?

ELOHIM PRANDI.

We wanted this last victory all together.

We knew it was going to be hot with the Nantes supporters who are always boiling.

We were able to stay calm and lucid from start to finish and all is well that ends well.

What made the difference in this match and more generally between PSG and other French clubs this season?

We have in Paris, a workforce that is very homogeneous in each position with great players who are also generally doubled.

In this match against Nantes, when you see Niko (Karabatic) who is powerful, who hurts, who wears down the defense and then me behind me who adds a layer of it by shooting from afar, it becomes hard for the opponent who has no not the same rotations as us.

Saturday, the 🔴🔵 won the #CDF against Nantes!

How do you qualify this season?

It's been a great season, long and turbulent but superb.

It has never happened that a team wins all the games in the league, it's a historic season at this level.

Do you also have a part of relief to end it like this?

Yes, clearly, it's good.

The season has been tough with hazards, injuries, complicated matches.

The bodies of each of us respond differently to efforts and their repetition, but we are all tested.

In these cases, it is the mind that takes precedence and you have to hurt yourself.

Was this season perfect or not?

It was 80%, I think.

We are missing two trophies: the League Cup and the Champions League.

But you know how hard it is to win this event.

It always comes down to details.

Long before I arrived, PSG qualified for the Final Four in Cologne, but they haven't yet managed to win it.

I hope and believe it will come.

You just have to draw the conclusion that perfection does not exist.

But that, I already knew

Do you already have nostalgia leaving Remili, Hansen, Kounkoud, GĂ©rard and Genty who will no longer play with PSG?

Yes.

The hardest part was last week at Coubertin for the last game of the season because it was at home.

Now, we know that with them it's over.

Monday, we should get together one last time for a little garden party and we're going to say goodbye, for good.

Should we be afraid for PSG in the future without all these players?

No, you don't have to.

We trust in our strengths.

We can rely on a big base now.

The players who will arrive will be added to it.

They all already know the very high level.

It will just be necessary, with them, to make some adjustments but it should not be too complicated.

Will PSG still be as strong in 2022-2023?

It will be different.

We will be as strong, I think, but in a different way.
