Britney won the grasscourt championship after defeating formerly ranked first-ranked Scottish Andy Morey, 6-4, 5/7, 6-3, in an hour and 49 minutes of competition.
The 26-year-old Italian won his sixth title in his career as he prepares to participate with Morey in the Queen's Championship, which begins tomorrow in the British capital, London, as a preparatory tournament for Wimbledon, the third major tournament.
