The racism allegations made by tennis pro Nick Kyrgios could have consequences.

The organizers of the ATP tournament at Stuttgart's Weissenhof announced on Sunday that they would investigate the allegations.

No discriminatory statements by viewers would be accepted.

“We have expressed our regret at what has happened to Nick Kyrgios and his team and have assured him that we will not accept such behavior.

The incident is currently being investigated by those responsible,” it said.

Compliance with sporting values such as fairness, tolerance and team spirit have top priority.

It is currently not known whether there is a specific suspected case.

The Australian had denounced racist statements from the audience after his semi-final defeat by Andy Murray.

“One thing I will never tolerate is spectators berating and berating athletes.

It's been happening to me personally for a while, from racist comments to outright disrespect," the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram.

"I pushed it aside for years, but especially in Indian Wells and today in Stuttgart, I noticed that people seem to think it's normal."

Kyrgios lost 6-7 (5-7) and 2-6 to two-time Wimbledon winner Murray on Saturday.

His behavior isn't always the best, but comments like "You little black sheep" and "Shut up and play" are unacceptable, he wrote.

After a balanced first set, Kyrgios lost the tie-break because the ball jumped during the last rally.

He then smashed his racket, for which he was penalized with a point deduction.

At the beginning of the second set, Kyrgios discussed loudly with parts of the audience and was given a game deduction to 0: 2.

It is not known whether the racist statements were made during this phase.

“If I fight back against the crowd, I will be punished.

That sucks," he wrote.

Kyrgios Conqueror Murray failed to win the tournament.

In the final he lost to Italian Matteo Berrettini 4:6, 7:5, 3:6.
