New UFC World Champion:
Czech Yiri Prokhazka today (Sunday) defeated Glover Tischiera in Singapore, winning his lightweight heavyweight world championship for the first time.
The 29-year-old fighter has won 29 battles out of 33 in which he has fought in his career, winning the title in his third battle overall in the largest fighting organization in the world.
By the way, all his fights ended in a draw (two by knockout and today in submission).
It was a particularly violent fight, lasting five rounds and Judge Jason Herzog seemed close to stopping him more than once.
The 42-year-old Brazilian, known for his great ground ability, tried to drag the Czech down, but Projazka was not tempted and was excellent in standing.

The two fighters hit each other a lot of times and bled non-stop, but within the fifth round and just seconds before the end of the fight, Frohazka hit Tishira standing up, and was a big surprise - who managed to defeat the older Brazilian by suffocation.

The two shared a great respect for each other at the end of the fight - and Prokhazka approached the previous world champion - the Polish Jan Jan Blajowicz who lost the title to Tishira, and exchanged a few words with him, apparently - ahead of the next battle between the two.
