A great achievement for Paralympic swimmer Ami Dadon, who tonight (Tuesday) won the gold medal in the individual medley 150 meters, at the world championships held in Madeira, Portugal.
Mark Millier with a great achievement of his own picked up the bronze.
Daddown, the 4-handicap competitor, advanced to the finals, after being ranked first in the qualifiers, setting a time of 2: 43.13 minutes.
In the final, he led almost all the way and touched the wall first with 2: 37.12 minutes.
The podium picture was completed by the Austrian Andreas Arnfor with 2.45.65 minutes who won the silver and third finished in the Spanish Miguel Loco with 2: 45.91 minutes.
The talented swimmer was born 21 years ago at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, in the 29th week of his beautiful mother's pregnancy, by caesarean section, just two minutes after his twin sister Liam. Oxygen to his brain and therefore it is estimated that as a result he suffered from cerebral palsy.
At the Paralympic Games in Tokyo last summer, Dadon finished this ointment with the silver medal, when he also won the gold medals in the 50 and 200 meters freestyle.
Also, after changing his classification, swimmer Mark Mellier recovered nicely, winning a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke, with a 7 degree of disability, after setting a result of 1: 21.42 minutes.
So far, Israel has counted three medals at the World Championships, and in addition to the Dadon and Millier medals, on the opening day, Veronica Guernico achieved the silver medal in the 50-meter breaststroke.
