The European Nations runner-up's failed League of Nations campaign has reached its peak, with a home defeat against the team that was considered by everyone to be the underdog of the home.
The English do not seem to have learned the lesson from the 1-0 loss in Budapest, absorbing a quartet in the face of the League of Nations sensation that suddenly finds itself at the top of the House of Death.
