Mönchengladbach – Hansi Flick's team is not really making progress.
The German national team has already been challenged three times in the Nations League - three times the scoreboard ended with a 1-1 draw.
Germany wants to get out of the rut against leaders Italy (all TV information about the game is available here).
It's the last game of the international break, it won't start again until September.
To spread at least a little optimism for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, a victory at the end would do well.
On top of that, this could catapult the DFB-Elf to the top of the table.

"With a win, the conviction that you have good quality is also much better," said Flick before the duel with Italy.
After the second showdown with the Squadra Azzurra within ten days, the national players go on summer vacation.
"We simply need this sense of achievement," emphasized captain Manuel Neuer.

What is certain, however, is that he wants to win and will therefore not be able to compete in the perspective series.
