What many critics don't consider: For athletes, investments in limited-edition vehicles are often valuable assets - also to protect themselves from inflation.

For years, the Swabian has been the car contact number one for the superstars, and also refines their luxury bodies on request.
Thanks to his good connections to the manufacturers, he can get hold of the valuable vehicles.
Barinc: “8- and 12-cylinders are often no longer built, there are many more interested parties than cars.
This is what increases the value of the limited models.”

Watches as a store of value for soccer stars – some of them are worth more than a million euros
In addition to limited cars, the stars also invest in luxury watches that promise an increase in value, but sometimes have to wait for years.
"I also support my footballer friends in an advisory capacity," says Barinc.
"Coveted watches are Rolex, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille or Audemars Piguet."
Boateng owns a Rolex Sky-Dweller.
When purchased, the price was 44,000 euros.
Its value is currently around 65,000 euros.
Ribéry has a soft spot for watches.
The French midfielder owns several luxury watches, like tennis star Rafael Nadal (36) and ManCity coach Pep Guardiola (51) on Richard Mille models.
Ribéry likes to wear a special edition, the blue “RM 11-03 Jean Todt 50th Anniversary”.
There are only 150 of these.
The watch is sometimes offered for sale for around 700,000 euros.
In autumn 2018 she still had a value of 260,000 euros.
Ribéry buddy David Alaba (29) likes it simpler, for example he wears the Patek Philippe Aquanaut watch on his wrist.
