A little over a month after winning the 14th championship in its history, Maccabi Haifa was drawn today (Wednesday) in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers.
The second round games will take place on 19/20 and 26/27 July.
Last season the Greens were already eliminated in the first round by the Kazakh Kyret, but this time they went straight up to the second round.
This means that if they go up a stage, they will already guarantee themselves participation in the home stage of

A relegation in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers will send the Greens to the Europa League qualifiers, while a relegation in the third round of the Champions League qualifiers means going beyond the Europa League playoffs and in any case a warm winter.
A relegation in the playoffs is worth a ticket to the home stage in the factory below, and that of the Conference League seems like a realistic goal for Israeli football at the moment.
Everything else will be a success.
