End of era:
Danny Alves finally announced today (Wednesday) his departure from Barcelona at the end of only half a season.
This is how the 39-year-old Brazilian ends his second term at the club.
According to reports in Spain, the Spanish club have informed Alves that they do not intend to extend the veteran right-back's contract.
Meaning - the Brazilian will have to look for a new team soon so he can prepare for the World Cup in Qatar in November, with Bayern Munich at the center of interest.

"Dear fans. It's time to say hello. For more than eight years I have been committed to this club, to these colors. But like everything in life, the years have passed, the paths have split and the stories are written in different places. And so it was," Elbas wrote on social media.
