Back to yellow?
David Blatt may serve as a professional consultant to Maccabi Tel Aviv and will assist owners and management in making significant decisions such as appointing a coach, signing key players and developing long-term processes.
Blatt, who won with the Yellows at their last European Championship in 2014, is in the United States, where he is undergoing, among other things, treatments for multiple sclerosis, which he is currently dealing with.
At the beginning of the week, there will be a zoom conversation with Maccabi owners David Federman, and it is possible that the conversations will progress to cooperation in the future.
Earlier this morning (Wednesday) it was announced that Oded Katash is approaching signing as the next coach of the Yellows.
The former player is considered the preferred candidate after the deal fell to Xavi Pasqual, and in recent hours there has been positive progress in contacts between the former Israeli national team coach and the club's heads.
