Annoyed looks without end: Goretzka listless in the DFB quiz against Kimmich

In a quiz for the German national team's YouTube channel, Joshua Kimmich challenged Leon Goretzka.

However, he was not in the mood.

Frankfurt – There is a problem with the German national team.

The 1-1 draw against Hungary was the fourth draw in a row for the team coached by national coach Hansi Flick.

In the Nations League, the team is currently only in third place, behind Hungary and leaders Italy.

The last international match before the summer break is scheduled for Tuesday evening (8.45 p.m. / RTL) in Mönchengladbach against the “Squadra Azzurra”.

So things were going better with the national team.

Leon Goretzka also spread this image, because the midfield leader was not very enthusiastic about a DFB quiz round.

In the duel with Joshua Kimmich, the 27-year-old should assert himself in various knowledge categories related to football.

But right from the start, the star from FC Bayern was annoyed by the round.

A round of rock-paper-scissors was to determine which of the two national players would start.

As he did so, he lowered his eyes in disgust.

Goretzka's mood shouldn't improve as a result of the game.

As soon as presenter Ann-Sophie Kimmel asked about the first category (German players who were used in the 2014 World Cup final), he clapped his hands in front of his face and exhaled loudly.

"You start with the goalkeeper," said Kimmich, to which Goretzka replied with "Höwedes".

Apparently the concentration didn't seem particularly great either.

Frowning, he endured the subsequent rounds.

When asked about the qualified teams for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Goretzka could no longer hide his listlessness from the last one.

"Really a fun round, I have to say...", said the 27-year-old.

Kimmel obviously had a different opinion.

“But it was a good lap.

We cut it together like crazy," she said at the end of the video, whereupon the two FCB stars burst out laughing.
