Conference League Qualifiers:
Maccabi Netanya got used today (Wednesday) to play against Istanbul in Shakespeare in the second round of the tournament.
This is the most difficult lottery that Bnei Lem's players could accept, after they were not ranked.
As is well known, there is currently a severe travel warning and a recommendation from the National Security Council for Israelis not to come to the country. The first game will take place in Istanbul on July 21 and the rematch will take place about a week later in Israel.
After the draw, team coach Benny Lem said: "I hope the travel warning goes through until the game in Turkey so that our fans can come with us to the game. For me we got the strongest team that has been in the draw, but we will do everything to get ready."
Sports director Almog Cohen added: "This is a very difficult draw, but the team and the players will come motivated with our style of play, our way and the belief that it is possible to cross."
Netanya returns to Europe after a decade and it hopes to succeed and qualify for the home stage of a European factory for the first time in its history.
